3. • My chosen merchandise idea is to create a t-shirt design.
This is due to the fact that t-shirts with special designs are
more commonly bought and looked at. I have generated a
mood board of existing t-shirt designs which consist of
quotes which refer to being healthy. I have chosen these
images to show that being healthy is not just exercise, and
that it can be anything which relates keeping your body in
shape. All of the images on my mood board tend to have
text with images surrounding them, which allows me to
notice most of the designs are all similar with how they are
placed on the shirt. This gives me inspiration to try a
different designs & create a different style of design. Most
of the examples I have collected refer to exercise & how it
keeps your body healthy.
5. • My second mood board reflects on healthy
eating instead of the exercise aspect. I’ve
generated this type of mood board for variety
since being healthy is not just about exercise. I
can use images of different pieces of fruit or
quotes which can reflect on healthy eating. I
can then create different t shirt designs which
could collaborate both styles to create designs
which reflect on both healthy eating and
exercising.
7. • This mind map states what kind of merchandise items I
could create for my own pieces of merchandise, as well
as bring in new adaptations of existing products. The
mind map has multiple options an ideas for what I
could do to make my piece of merchandise which
ranges from small things to large products. I have also
added a methods area to look at potential methods I
could use to generate my products. I have made sure
that I have included different options so that I have a
variety of different things to choose from. This mind
map is based on main pieces of merchandise which
would be used when creating certain designs (such as
on a t shirt or a phone case etc).

9. • My second mind map has a little bit more
insight of what options I need to focus on
when creating my merchandise, this means
looking at small things such as the content I
use like images and text, what information I
contain on my merchandise and the colours I
use. These are all important to make the
product better as it needs to appeal towards
my audience so that they will buy the product.
