This document discusses how a magazine appeals to its target audience through its design. It summarizes that the magazine uses things like a bold masthead, catchy slogans incorporating the magazine's name, low price, large easy-to-read text, competitions with great prizes, recognizable artist images on the cover, bold highlighting of artists in the contents, small images providing different views of artists, captions explaining images, pull quotes from articles, full-page spreads with images of artists that could be used as posters, and body copy using different fonts for interviews to make the text easy to read. All of these design elements are intended to attract readers and draw them into the magazine content that will interest them.
