wide)

7. FRIEND ACTIVITY | FAN ACTIVITY | STAR, HIDE, PIN POSTS
Friends: Your friendsʼ activities will show up above everyone else's.

Tagging Changes*: Facebook sees what people are saying about your brand without
them needing to @ tag you.

you can only pin one post at a time.
8. MILESTONES

disabled.
Insights and Statistics: A brief overview is available at the top of your page every
time you go to it.
10. REAL-TIME INSIGHTS
Rolling Out Through March: Admins will have visibility about real-time activity on
their site. Insights currently run four days behind.
Dive Deeper & Engage Better: Real-time allows us to promote the most
engaging / active posts by pinning them or running sponsored story ads against
them.
11. FAQs & BEST PRACTICES
Age Restrictions: Despite initial concern, age restrictions still work as long as the
birthdate of the user yields 21+.
Like Gating: Default landing pages are no longer active, so the content at the top
of your Timeline will be the first impression. FB Ads and external links to your
Facebook page can point to certain tabs/views to alleviate this.
Publish More Visual Content: Posts including a photo album or picture generate
2x more engagement.
Showcase Only Your Best Posts: If allowing fans to post in your Timeline,
checking “Only show brand & friend content until reviewed by an admin” option.
Rotate Your Pinned Post: Pinning a post to the top of your Timeline should be a
priority for any new initiative or announcement.
Run More Ads: All of these changes are to support more robust, prominent ads.
