It uses clinch fighting, throws, takedowns, joint locks, pins, etc.
3. AIKIDO
It is considered a grappling art, aikido is a Japanese martial art
performed by flowing with the motion of the attacker rather than
opposing it straight-on.
This requires much less physical strength, as the practitioner
directs the attacker's momentum with entering and turning
motions, followed by various throws or joint locks.
4. BOXING
It is a combat sport in which you use your fists to throw strikes in an
attempt to knock out your opponent.
Because boxers stand up straight and fight with their hands, they
are not protecting their torso to prevent a take down.
5. BRAZILIAN JIU-JITSU
It is mainly considered a ground-based fighting style, with
importance on positioning, chokes and joint locks.
It concept is that a smaller weaker person can beat a larger
person mainly using ground-styled techniques.
6. CATCH WRESTLING
This type of wrestling forms the base of Japan's martial art of
shoot wrestling.
7. JUDO
Judo fighters use there knowledge of ne-waza(ground-grappling)
and tachi-waza (standing-grappling).
8. KARATE
It is the core of kick-boxing, and specializes in striking techniques.
12. KUNG FU
Uses a number of fighting styles that have developed over the
centuries in China.
Some styles include physical exercises that mimic animal
movements include Eagle Claw, Hung Gar, Monkey, Praying
Mantis, and Wing Chun.
