professional approach to this sensitive cycle.
I enjoy working in an environment that strives to provide a framework of professional values,

I am a responsible, self motivated hard working individual who is always eager to learn new skills
and endeavour to constantly challenge the status quo. Through my experience, I have learnt how

Manage payroll staff work flow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately
and timely to produce an accurate payslip monthly.
Ensure that all payroll journals are accurately and timeously processed via SAGE GL
software.
Regulate and implement a timely, full and accurate payment of employee deductions,
company contributions to SARS, UIF, SDL, unions, medical aids, retirement funds and all 3rd
party employee deductions in a manner commensurate with the relevant legislation and
regulations.
Responsible for the record keeping and preparation of the Groups relevant management

Accountable that no fraudulent transactions are processed via the payroll. Legislation and
company policies are 100% adhered to so as to avoid penalties and legal suits.
Critical review and analyze current payroll, benefits and tax procedures’ in order to
recommend and implement changes leading to best-practice operations.
Identify and implement payroll process improvements once the best possible solution has
been identified after considering all possible solutions. Coordinating the development and
maintenance of the automated payroll/general ledger interface, monitoring policies and
procedures and working with Information Systems regarding payroll enhancements and
performing testing to protect the accuracy and integrity of all payroll/HR information and
systems.
Ensure that systems are set-up and updated to ensure that there is a partnership with HR
and Benefits, in aligning and implementing the best payroll and benefit system is in place.
Plan and train all payroll staff to ensure continuity of work flow in cases of absence or
leave, multi skilling and succession planning. Work together as a TEAM – Vital to work
together towards a common goal.
Providing excellent customer service and keeping the customer and relevant stakeholders
updated on all aspects that may affect them.
