The Coastal Savannah Writing Project has several goals: to improve writing instruction, implement writing across curriculums, provide professional development for teachers, and offer continuing education opportunities. It offers a summer institute for teachers to develop as writers, researchers, and instructors. It also provides workshops, conferences, and coaching to support teacher professional development throughout the year.
