Starwood Is the First Travel Brand to Advertise on Instagram.
‘Starwood Preferred Guest’, the hotel chain’s guest loyalty program,
launched an advertising campaign on Instagram, becoming the first
travel brand to utilize Instagram’s advertising platform.

By 2013, the advertising on social media was estimated to more
than 2,2 million dollars by the end of year 2013.
