playgrounds!
Junebug made a $1,000 grant to the
Bristol Downtown Community
Partnership and the Bristol Recreation
Department for their Bristol Green
Playground project. This effort is
raising the funds necessary to upgrade
the existing play space and to build a
new natural playground on the
community green that will be truly

7. Junebug + Mary Hogan 2013
Working with the school nurse, Junebug designed & installed
a closet system to help organize their emergency clothing.
Junebug supplies inventory to complement the direct parent
donations that keep the closet fully stocked with everything
from everyday basics to cold weather essentials. Students no
longer have to sit out during physical education if they don’t
have sneakers or stay in for recess if they don’t have boots.
They are instead learning how to independently find what they
need and join in the fun!
Mary Hogan School is the largest
public elementary school in
Addison County, with nearly half
of the students living in
households earning under the
federal free and reduced lunch
annual income guideline.
Ensuring that each child has
adequate and appropriate clothing
to fully participate in the school
day is an increasing challenge for
teachers.
