6. Golf Tournament
Each year KAED hosts its annual Jesse L. Puckett Memorial Golf
Scramble in Shelbyville. The Golf Committee plans the event and
secures sponsorships for the scramble.

Responsible for membership retention and
recruitment. This committee also works to
develop quality membership materials and an
effective and easy-to-use website.

8. Public Policy
KAED serves as an advocate in Kentucky's General
Assembly for legislation favoring business and
economic development issues. The Public Policy
Committee updates members on legislatives
happenings and helps define the organization's policy
agenda.
