SUPPLIES?
If you are in need of supplies or
even a route list, let the carrier
hot line know at any point during
the day. They can be reached by
phone between the hours of
7:00am and 5:00am weekly and
till 11:00am on weekends.
Remember, I will not charge you
for bags, bands, stickers, tubes,
etc. If you choose to go through
me directly, I will get back to
you, but it may take a day or
two. Thanks for your patience.
Tubing in SPRING
There will be more tubing projects
starting in early Spring. If you feel
some of your customers would be
better served by introducing tubing
along the road for them, Let me
know. Tubing especially works in
areas where there are paper
blowing issues, long driveways, or
safety concerns. The earlier we can
get started, the sooner customers
will receive a letter from me
concerning the change.
SAFETY IN THE SNOW
There have been several questions and concerns
fromcarriers that storms, snow, and ice generally
delay or even hinder paper deliveries. As a carrier
myself, I will not put my own safety in jeopardy over
getting the customer their paper. If the roads are
iced or unplowed, if the sidewalk/steps areunsalted
and slippery I will not take the chance of getting my
vehicle stuck or falling on the ice. Somethings are
best done later when conditions are better. If this
should happen, just call the carrier hot line and let
them know your plan of action.
SHORT
PAPERS/BUNDLES
Ithas been happening more
frequently that you’rereceiving
fewer papers or even bundles
than you should. Many times
this is an error with Production,
but could also be a simple
accident with Bundle Hauling. If
you are coming up short, please
let the Carrier Hot Line know
right away so that we can get a
paper out to the customer.
