8. The reason things become famous in the archaeological world is because their so big, important or amazing like the city of Pompeii, The Titanic and The Tomb of Tutankhamen. Pompeii was is so famous because it was an entire Roman city almost perfectly preserved so it gives such a good image of how the Romans lived. Then Tutankhamen was 1 of the few child pharaohs. And Titanic was famous because everyone thought it was indestructible and when it sunk they still had 250 life boats left and didn’t use them. What are the Most Famous Discoveries and Why?
