3 Things Polar Bears Can Do  They use their noses to smell food 20 miles away. Female bears hibernate in the winter and while they are sleeping they give birth to their babies. They swim using large round paws.
Polar Bears live on the ice in the arctic region. Here it is cold and snowy.  When it gets warm they migrate north to follow the ice and the seals.

Facts About Polar Bears 1. An adult male can weigh between 600 to 1,200 pounds. 2. An adult female weighs between 400 and 700 pounds. 3.They migrate or move to  find food. 4. A baby bear is small enough to fit in your hand. 5. A polar bear has black skin and clear fur.
