3. Algesia- pain, sensitivity.
excessive sensitivity to pain, a type of
hyperesthesia.
Anesthesia- it affects the brain as well as the
entire body. With general anesthesia, you
are completely unaware and do not feel pain
during the surgery. General anesthesia often
causes you to forget the surgery and the
time right after it.
4. Plegia- paralysis, stroke.
Monoplegia is a paralysis of a single limb,
usually an arm.
It is frequently associated with cerebral
palsy. It is the mildest form of cerebral
palsy, and individuals with it generally have
a good prognosis for later life.
