Editor's Notes

  1. This paper is about e-learning and information technology (IT) as learning technologies in order to evaluate if they could be used to replace the traditional learning experience in higher education (HE). The traditional learning experience in higher education using the “chalk and talk” lecture and seminar, were now being transformed through the application of learning technologies.
  2. Lecturer could set up a discussion area by proposing a topic and encouraging student participation. The students could respond or comment on the topic and get the lecturer’s feedback and also the contributions of their fellow students.
