People without internet access are at a
            disadvantage
• The best place to now look for work is
  online
• More than 25% of employers use only the
  internet to advertise job opportunities
• Due to the government's Digital by
  Default agenda there will be changes to
  the job searching and benefit systems.
• There are lots of different websites and
  online resources you can use with your
  learners to look for work
Basic computer skills are needed to

Plus many jobs involve the use and require
      some knowledge of computers
In all our libraries




 You can have free computer use and
internet access for up to 2 hours a day
And many of our libraries




Have regular free courses and sessions to
help people get the online skills they need
We start with the basics




Including that all important email account
   that you’ll need for job applications

Completing a short series of online practical
             bitesize courses
When you’ve mastered the basics
