3. Event Overview
This event, still unnamed until sponsorship and venue are obtained, is a celebrity charity poker event
that will offer attendees the chance to play poker and mingle with celebrities and professional poker
players. Proceeds will benefit Blessings in a Backpack, a local and national charity that feeds children.
The grand prize for the poker tournament is over $25K in cash and a World Series of Poker Main Event
Package worth over $12,000.
This event is not your average poker tournament... Aside from
the poker tournament there will also be lounge areas, cash bars,
a DJ, Dance floor, a VIP / Celebrity section with unlimited
cocktails and hors d'oeuvres, and venders selling poker gear.
Location: Due to venue and host availability, the date and
venue for the event has not been set. It will take place in
August 2011 in South Florida. Potential venues: Eden Roc
Renaissance Miami Beach, Fontainebleau Miami Beach, 1111
Lincoln Road, Dolce, Bash of Boca or WhiteSpace.
Celebrities: Celebrities, professional poker players and emcee
to be announced at a later date. Potential Celebs/Poker Players:
Phil Hellmuth, Chris “Jesus” Ferguson, Tiffany Michelle, Maria Ho, Robert Williamson III, Jennifer Tilly, Phil Laak, Mekhi
Phifer, Gloria & Emilio Estefan, Ricky Martin, Matt Damon, LeBron James and many more!

4. About the Charity
Blessings in a Backpack
Blessings in a Backpack is the designated charity. This unique program is
designed to feed elementary school children whose families qualify for the
federal free and reduced meal program, and may not have any or enough food
on the weekends. Better test scores, improved reading skills, positive
behavior, improved health and increased attendance have all been attributed
to the success of this program.
$80 feeds a child in the program for an entire school year. Following a donation, a school is
chosen and a local grocer partners with the program to provide food for meals in the backpacks.
Every Friday, students receive their backpacks with staples that require little to no preparation.
They return with their backpacks on Monday ready to learn. Blessings in a Backpack has recently
added many new schools in the South Florida Area to its program. With your support of this
event, we aim to provide enough funding to add new schools from South Florida to the
Blessings in a Backpack program and feed hundreds of children for years to come.
Through Blessings in a Backpack’s weekend meals program, children benefit via:

11. About the Event Creators
Casino Players, Inc.(CPI), is a public entity that focuses on the
entertainment industry. From casinos travel and celebrity poker events
to liquor and cigar promotions, CPI can do it all. We have recently added
the title of “event planners” to our repertoire by combining over 50
years of casino event experience and reputable event planning

Lindsay Usher is the Director of Marketing for CPI and has heavy experience in event management,
