LaToya Nicole Benson (Toya Nicole) is an Author, Speaker, Coach and Social Media Consultant who helps build bankable brands
through social media and empowers women to walk boldly into the life and business they are purposed for. An influencer,
speaker and workshop leader Toya has educated a diverse group of bloggers, entrepreneurs, organizations and small
businesses nationwide. She has a passion for inspiring women to live more extraordinary lives and shares her personal story
of overcoming death, disability and a dead end job with churches, colleges, conferences and professional organizations.
With over a decade of corporate experience as a marketing and sales professional for a Fortune 200 transportation company, Toya
Nicole proved her executive leadership working with multi-billion dollar corporations like: McDonald’s, Walgreen Co, John
Deere, 3M and Caterpillar. and transitioned from blogger to business owner laying the foundation that led to her own strategic exit
from Corporate America to launch her consulting company, L. Nicole Media & Communications.
At L. Nicole Media & Communications, Toya works with purpose driven and passionate aspiring business owners, speakers, authors
and coaches who are in need of branding strategies and social media training to leverage their online presence and reach their
next level of success. The company also provides small businesses and non-profits with a suite of content creation, social media
management and branding consultation services as well as targeted marketing communication strategies to increase brand
visibility.
Toya Nicole personal mission is to encourage ordinary women to walk boldly into their extraordinary purpose in business
and life. In Summer 2015 she is releasing her book, "Ordinary Women, Extraordinary Purpose: 21 Ways to Walk Boldly Into the
Life You Were Created to Live” that provides personal and practical faith- based career, life and love strategies for women. Designed
to empower women to stretch beyond what is ordinary, tap into their greatness, overcome fear and make bold decisions in business,
life and love.
As a volunteer Toya Nicole is passionate about working with youth, over the years lending her time and talent to organizations
including: By the Hand Club for Kids, Fellowship Chicago, Ryan Banks Academy and Junior Achievement. LaToya has also been a
member and held key leadership positions in several professional organizations including: ColorComm Network, Social Fabric, NAPW,
Network of Executive Women and Council of Supply Chain Management.
Toya holds a BBA in Marketing with a minor in Psychology from Texas A&M University and received her MBA from University
of Dallas. On a personal note, Toya Nicole is a bargain shopper, lover of Christ and ranks the Greek Islands as her favorite travel
destination. A proud native of Fort Worth, Texas, Toya now resides in Chicago’s Hyde Park neighborhood.

During her decade career as a sales and marketing professional with BNSF Railway (a Berkshire Hathaway company) Toya Nicole proved her executive
leadership working with key clients like John Deere, Caterpillar, McDonalds, 3M, BP, Roundy’s and Walgreens. Her ability to win others over coupled
with an insight into her customer and client needs resulted into successes that exceeded goals and impacted the bottom line. Toya Nicole held key leadership
roles and responsibilities with professional organizations and affinity groups including: Organizing “midday office breaks” as Activities lead of the Work/Life
Balance team; organizing 200+ departmental members in a “Day of Caring” event with United Way and organizing networking events for the African
American Networking Group including Technology Awareness Day and a special Meet and Greet with Black Enterprise Founder, Earl Graves. As the
College Outreach Lead for the Chicago chapter of Network of Executive Women (N.E.W.), Toya Nicole lead a mentoring initiative and established
an ongoing partnership with DePaul University students and N.E.W. members that included C suite women executives from the Retail & CPG Industry.
Since launching her travel and lifestyle digital site, MsTravelChic.com in September 2012 Toya Nicole has motivated thousands to travel, embrace new
experiences and live life to the fullest. As a professional blogger and media correspondent she has been featured as a panelist at the 2013 Black Women’s
Expo and interviewed notable celebrities and business leaders including Dr. Ian Smith, Lisa Price and Mitzi Miller. Through MsTravelChic.com Toya

Speaking FeeSchedule:

• $1,500 Training, Workshop or Breakout Session

In addition to having Toya Nicole speak at your event, she will also provide:
• Planning and attending meetings and/or conference calls with meeting organizers and/or co presenters
• Development of a customized handout or worksheet, if applicable
• Development of a customized, interactive PowerPoint presentation, if applicable
Speaking Policies
Payment: A deposit of 50% of the speaking fee holds the date when you book an engagement. Your event will not be confirmed until the deposit has been paid. The deposit
payment may be made via check or credit card. The balance is due on the day of the program.
Travel Expense Policy:Travel arrangements can be made directly by your organization or Toya Nicole may be reimbursed for these expenses following the engagement,
including roundtrip airfare, lodging, ground transportation, parking and/or meals.
8. About the Booking Process:
During the initial phone consultation, Toya Nicole will learn about the desired objectives for your event,
conference or training. At this time we can best assess the best speaking or workshop topic(s) for your group and
confirm whether Toya Nicole is available on the date of your event.
