To all ISBT members; The Results of the BevTech 2009 survey are in and the Executive Committee has completed its review. Thanks to all of you who participated for your valuable comments and insight. It’s good to see that we’re doing a lot of things right and we recognize that there is also room for improvement. As a result of your comments and the overall strategy plan we discussed at BevTech ’09 we will be taking a number of steps that we feel will make BevTech ’10 even better: 1. The survey made it clear that members prefer more e-mails and electronic communications regarding BevTech and upcoming events and news. We will continue expanding e-mails and website updates at www.Bevtech.org. In addition, we instituted a BevTech site at LinkedIn and will be using this to bring you news of activities of the Society 2. As you remember from the strategy presentation, Networking has been identified as one of the key benefits of the Society. Although almost 90% of you indicated the time allotted for networking was either good or very good, it looks like there is opportunity to do more. We have discussed some changes to BevTech ’10 and will keep you posted. 3. The Technical Committees are where the work gets done in the Society. These results and your comments will be shared with the Technical Committees as we look at ways to improve the meetings and the Technical Committee Preview at BevTech ’10. Look for some updates in the next few months. BevTech ’10 is in the planning stages right now. We’re excited about some of the things we have in store for the members in Glendale. We’ll be sharing the information and plans as we put the pieces in place for BevTech ’10 and some special educational programs in the fall and spring. See You in Arizona Larry
