2. To start my content page, I first made a rectangle going vertically across
the top of the page using the marquee tool, I then filled it in blue using the
paint bucket tool. I made sure it matched the blue from the front cover by
using the colour picker tool to ensure that the pages looked consistent. I
then copied and pasted my masthead onto to it and wrote ‘Content,’ the
date and the issue number using the text tool.
3. I then added a blue box in the bottom right hand corner where I would
write my editor’s note. I also added all of my images. To edit my photos I
used Adobe Lightroom in which I brightened all the images to aid visibility
and clarity, I also reduced noise to get rid of any unnecessary luminance
noise using the noise reduction tool.
4. I then proceeded to add all my editorial pillars and editor’s note using the
text tool. I placed my headings in rectangular boxes which I created with
the marquee tool. To create the boxes which contain the page numbers
on the images I also used the marquee tool and filled them in white with
the paint bucket tool, however, I changed the opacity to decrease the
visibility of them.
