Reepham College 9th December 2012
Dear Mr Randall,
Application for entry September 2013
My name is Lee Johnson and I am currently studying at Reepham High School and I would
like to apply for a place at Reepham College. I consider myself to be caring, thoughtful and
respectful to others. I am hard working, mix well with others and I work well in a team. I am
currently a prefect at Reepham High School which shows I am a responsible pupil and I can
be trusted.
I do a lot of charity work for the SDBTT Andrew Stringer fund such as doing a 25 mile bike
ride in the summer and I have helped with other charities such as coffee mornings for the
Air Ambulance and Macmillan Cancer. I am employed as a paper boy for just over two years
and I work six days a week. I get up at 6:30am weekdays to enable me to work and then get
onto the school bus. I have helped an elderly lady who had fallen and badly hurt herself and
needed some help, so I biked to get her family who were the other side of the village so they
could get her to hospital. I have attended photography classes in the evenings at Reepham
College which have enhanced my photography abilities as this is a subject I would love to
study at the college. I had represented Norfolk under 25’s for two years in bowls and I took
the decision to temporarily stop my bowls career and to concentrate more on my education
so I can better it. I also enjoy tennis which I have been having coaching lessons for two years
and I still attend in all seasons at Aylsham Tennis Club on the recreational park. I have won
the Aylsham Under 14&16 Tournament which shows that I am very dedicated and I aspire to
be the best I can possibly be.
I hope you find this application useful when you are coming to the decision of recruiting
pupils for the College.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Yours Faithfully
