4. Let`s pray for Ukraine
Ukraine, Ukraine, Ukraine.
I pray for you again and again.
You`ll over come these difficult times
And I`ll see with my own eyes
The land is blessed
with beauty, faith and love.
Ukraine!
I love you very much
and want you to live such:
in friendship and peace
in unity with European countries.

5. We are Ukrainians
Every nation has its special features.
We are Ukrainians,
The nation is rich in customs and traditions.
What does it mean for generations?
Their native land,
their families and Motherland.
The cleanest rivers
and the fields.
For everybody is at least:
One`s hope, faith and love.
Where you can`t be alone.

6. Who were Cossacks?
Cossacks were brave,
strong and hard-working people.
They were engaged in
hunting and bee-keeping.
They built the first permanent fortress
on the Island of Khortytsya
to defend the Southern Ukraine
from the Turkish Empire
Polish landlords, tatars
and the Crimean Khanate.

7. Zaporizhyan Sich
What was the first democratic formation?
Ofcourse it was the first demonstration
of independence and search.
A search of freedom , military fame
and universal acclaim.

8. My motherland
The place where I live
the place I love the most.
And only you can give
strength and calm for my soul.
The place where I feel
my roots, sincerity, support.
My motherland, I`m sure
You`re the best in the world.
m-o-t-h-e-r-l-a-n-d
And I isn`t just a word.

9. I`m afraid
I`m afraid to open my eyes
and see with my own eyes
Ruin of native village...
But may be it`s an image?
Image of present masters:
destruction and economic chaos...
``My motherland!-
I cry- without you I`ll die``.
I cry and cry and cry.

10. The New Year Eve
Soon it will be a night
and every window
will have a light.
A moment of hope and belief
In every hart will live.
Ukrainians won`t have any fight
and eager to live in peace and love.

11. Children are our future
Children- the future
of our Motherland.
They are the hope
of our country.
Conscious and active builder
for life on the Earth
better and cleaner.
Remember!
Children are valuable treasure
creatively working for general welfare.
It`s our duty
to make an effort
let them be healthy and happy.

12. We can`t live without food
Can we live without food?
Ofcourse you can`t.
It isn`t good.
The girls want to look like a fashion model.
They see themselves on the podium.
But, remember our poem:
While there is life there is hope.

13. My pet
I have a pet.
It is a rat.
It has a friend.
Its name is Fred.
Fred likes to eat
milk, fish, and meat.
What animal is that?
That`s my black fat cat.
Oh!
Can Fred eat my pet?
Ofcourse it can`t.
It`s my pet`s best friend.

14. Come and look!
Here is a school
near the pool.
it stands in the yard
every day and every night.
Waits for children
day by day.
Gives them knowledge
and allows to play.

15. I want all the people
to do their best
I went to the garden
It was so dark.
With bare branches
and tears in eyes.
I want all the people
to do their best
and help our nature
from north to the south
from east to the west.

16. A businessman
I want to be a businessman
the richest in the world.
I`d like to help all people
both young and old.

17. A wonderful word
I love my mother.
I love my father.
I love my sister
and my brother.
This is my grandmother.
This is my grandfather-
the best parents of my father.
These are my grandparents-
parents of mother.
Family- a wonderful word
because we are the happiest in the world.
We live in Ukraine
a beautiful land.
I want to repeat it
again and again.

18. We are fond of sport
All over the world
People are fond of sport.
From ancient times they told:
``A sound mind in a sound body``
And it must be clear for everybody.
Take vitamins for all parts of your body
And they`ll help you to grow.

19. A parrot
Does your parrot
like a carrot
and a beet?
Ofcourse it likes
these vegetables to eat.
What can your parrot say?
``Hello children! Let`s play!
My name is Jane``.
It repeats again and again.
My dog`s poem
I am a dog
My name is Dick.
I have a master.
He is big.

20. The days of the week
Saturday and Sunday
are the rest days.
Five days are working
For all by the way.
