Examples of some research projects undertaken at SWPS:
• Providing an Infrastructure for Research on Electoral Democracy in the
European Union. Seventh Framework Programme, FP7 - PIREDEU
• Growing up at Greenpoint: Electronic media, identity transformation and
new horizons of expectations in the community of immigrants
• EU Kids Online: Using internet by kids: threads and opportunieties
• Education challenges in the Internet era
• Intercultural group as a buffer in the process of adaptation: Research on
the acculturation of foreign students in the EU member states
• Research on the contemporary Islam
At the moment 35 of our own research projects are being implemented
Since 2000 when we obtained the first grant fourty nine different research
projects have been completed
