Empresas como Kubwa provide the capability of professional executive services to companies and an affordable option to smaller entities. This new companies supply’s the vision and strategic direction of a CEO, the financial functions and corporate governance of a CFO, the creative, diverse & consistent inputs of an Executive committee, efficient personnel solutions and three sixty degrees marketing and Branding solutions.
  • A Managed Service Provider (MSP) delivers network, application, system and e-management services across a network to multiple enterprises, using a “pay as you go” pricing model.

A “pure play” MSP focuses on management services as its core offering. In addition, the MSP market includes offerings from other providers — including application service providers (ASPs), Web hosting companies and network service providers (NSPs) — that supplement their traditional offerings with management services.

  • The need for business agility and innovation has never been greater.

“Born in the cloud” companies such as Uber and Airbnb, unhindered by traditional business systems and behemoth IT infrastructures, have created billions in market value and redefined their industries with IT service delivery models that enable them to deliver value in new and agile ways.

Today, IT is being asked to do the same—to be an innovative service broker for the business. The challenge is that traditional IT organizations are bound by legacy systems and processes that simply don’t work in this new model.

  • Transformation Services are about defining the IT environment the way it would be and should be if you were starting from scratch.

It involves more than technology: it’s infrastructure, applications, people, and process. It is about consolidating, simplifying, and automating IT environments.

The creation of a Strategic and detailed IT Roadmap that takes into consideration all domains and dimensions to transform your IT organization.

The outcome of this service is an all-inclusive executable plan comprised of the Architecture & Technologies, Process Alignment, Organizational Alignment, and Business Value & Governance activities necessary to analyze, assess, plan, and transform your IT solutions.

Align to business goals and drivers
    Establish business-focused metrics and KPIs
Identify opportunities for financial savings through rationalization of technology, process, and organizational initiatives
Create a detailed IT Strategic Roadmap with proper work stream and execution cadence

  • What is Cloud? What is not?

Many definitions exist. An understanding of the underlying concepts is essential to be able to navigate client conversations between new, highly innovative requirements & offerings and re-badged, familiar solutions.

    The concepts/dimension underlying Cloud are:

    a) Characteristics of Cloud Services – what makes a service a Cloud service?
Self/Rapid Provisioning – it’s available on demand … not in 6 months after the project is implemented.
Service based – as the customer I don’t care what technology/people/processes are needed to deliver the service
Scalable – more capacity can be provided on demand … not in 2 months when procurement has approved the new storage device
Consumption-charged – the user pays based on usage, not fixed fees (Note that Private Cloud may be an exception)
Virtualised – underlying resources are shared to efficiencies

    b) Cloud Service Models – what scope do Cloud services cover?
IaaS – often further divided into storage, server, or network as a service
PaaS – Infrastructure including database and standard application components
SaaS – Software solution as a service
BPssS – Business process as a service … still immature

    c) Cloud Deployment Models – how are Cloud services hosted and deployed?
Public – the most common understanding model with the service hosted in the public domain
Hybrid –services are sourced from the Public or Private Cloud depending on various factors such as availability of public cloud service, criticality of the supported business process (uptime / data privacy), etc.
Private – hardware (maybe even data centre) is dedicated to your firm, but the service is still has (most of) the cloud characteristics.

    d) Cloud Adoption Constraints/Barriers
Service Management – managing services is different to managing hardware or software – a transition than needs to be made.
SLAs – most cloud providers have SLAs, but accountabilities in case they are not met differ.
Security – information security and data privacy in the Cloud is talked about a lot. What are the risks and how can they be mitigated?
Integration – applications talk to each other – how can they be integrated if they sit in different Clouds, or some in the Cloud and some outside the Cloud?
Organization – How do people and processes need to change to effectively adopt Cloud?
Governance – Cloud enables everyone to buy a service – within minutes, using their credit card. How can/should this be governed from a spend, architecture, and information security perspective?

Anything currently using the technologies and exhibiting the characteristics above can probably be called Cloud to some extent.
Capabilities such as Virtualization, Automation, Metering, etc are seen as cloud-enabling technologies. They are a prerequisite – or the first step of the cloud.
  • Identifying opportunities for improving the business services through a gap analysis of technology, process, and current and targeted organizational states, while aligning to business goals and objectives.

Business Service Model Review & Design service provides transformational recommendations to:

Align to business goals and drivers
    Establish desired business values
Identify opportunities for improving through gap analysis of technology, process, and organizational current state
Assess and document an IT Service Catalog
    Create a Cloud Strategy

    13. 13. MaaS - Management as a Service Otros componentes clave de MaaS …
