8. Traditional alternatives disadvantages
-Intermittence and randomness of photovoltaic and eolic
production
- Immense surfaces occupied by traditional digestor
- Transport of input towards the traditional digestor
- Digestion of input for human or animal nutrition
Installation is not possible in urban or small rural
contests
Against the willingness to feed everybody on the Earth

9. Additional advantages of micro-digestor
- It produces a lot of continuous and widespread energy for 30 years
(about 35 MW/h per year; essential for an efficient Smart Grid)
- It’s suitable for personalized solutions (urban contest, rural contest, mixed
contest)
- It spares the production of a lot of CO2 (about 17 tons per year each single
system)
- It treats the serious problem of wastes
- It’s a second best solution against food scraps (the first best would be to not
produce them)
- It doesn’t require invasive intervention for installation
- It’s the perfect example of Circular Economy (waste is a resource)
