2. The
problem
A
very
daring,
competent,
reliable,
visionary
and
experienced
engineer
who
is
also
entrepreneur
and
employer
needs
manage
and
align
expecta5ons
about
salaries/responsibili5es/work/real
value/real
world
because
there
is
a
huge
misalignment
between
the
expecta5ons
of
graduates
and
employers.
4. Chosen
ideas
My
favorite
idea
is
a
game
that
simulates
the
management
of
a
company
and
hiring
people,
so
that
the
student
can
get
an
idea
of
what
kind
of
expecta5ons
has
the
entrepreneur
when
hiring.
Unfortunately
there
was
no
5me
to
design
the
game
and
test
it
(I
think
the
tes5ng
phase
should
have
a
longer
period
of
5me,
it
depends
on
other
people).
Thus,
two
other
ideas
were
chosen
for
tes5ng:
shoes
that
convey
experience
and
gloves
that
aligns
expecta2ons.
5. Shoes
that
convey
experience
The
idea
is
based
in
the
famous
quota5on
“Don’t
cri2cize
what
you
don’t
understand.
You
never
walked
in
that
man’s
shoes.”
The
entrepreneur
borrows
the
shoe
he
normally
uses
for
the
student.
The
student
immediately
begins
to
understand
the
expecta5ons
of
the
entrepreneur
because
he
captures
the
professional
experience.
The
entrepreneur
has
been
a
student,
so
he
understands
the
expecta5ons
of
the
candidate.
The
candidate
does
not
yet
have
experience
as
an
entrepreneur,
so
the
student
must
wear
the
shoes
of
the
entrepreneur.
7. Shoes
that
convey
experience
+

to
use
• fast
• funny

could
be
improved
Δ
• beUer
defini5on
of
"experience"
• a
generic
shoe
that
can
be
used
by
all
people
(universal
size)
?
Ques:ons
• how
to
select
the
experiences
to
be
conveyed?
• how
to
solve
the
problem
of
foot
odor?
• There
are
privacy
invasion
if
someone
I
don't
know
wear
my
shoes?
!
Ideas
• shoes
can
be
exchanged
for
sandals
• buUons
can
control
what
kind
of
experience
are
transmiUed
8. Gloves
that
align
expecta5ons
The
idea
is
based
on
the
gesture
of
the
handshake.
This
is
the
beginning
of
a
goodwill
for
understanding.
If
student
and
entrepreneur
wear
gloves
would
aUach
and
align
their
expecta5ons
while
shake
hands,
it
would
be
perfect!
Each
person
would
have
their
own
glove
calibrated
in
advance
with
your
expecta5ons.
When
the
handshake
happens,
the
gloves
would
connect
and
would
exchange
informa5on,
aligning
expecta5ons.
9. Prototype
and
test
The
yellows
glove
belongs
to
the
student
(cheaper
and
simpler).
The
black
one
belongs
to
the
entrepreneur
(more
expensive
and
superior;
he
uses
them
also
for
business).

Ideas

can

all

rela5onships!
Gloves

11. Conclusions
The
ideas
are
good,
but
need
more
5me
to
make
and
test
prototypes
more
realis5c.
The
transmiUed
data
are
s5ll
vague
and
poorly
defined.
But
prototyping
and
tes5ng
helped
a
lot
to
understand
the
problem
and
the
prac5cal
limita5ons
of
ideas.
