Improving what comes into your mind is key to building a quality and successful life.

1. CONSTRUCTING YOUR MENTAL STRUCTURE
Imaginations are one thing and your reasoning another. But a lot of times we fail to understand
the differences existing between these two. A huge difference I would say. But I’m not going to
talk about that, my focus would be what Mental Structure is all about. Mental Structure is the
attitude a person cultivates over time that controls their actions.
It may surprise you to know that a lot of people who have been unstabl e in their life’s affair had
built a structure of instability in their minds from their early years. Now this shouldn’t make you
lose hope as though there is no remedy to this because there is indeed hope. There is never
anything that spoils that you wouldn’t find a replacement or hasn’t been repaired. That’s the
same with our lives and having to make changes where we know that things are going wrong or
not working.
Our mind is like a house which is built into a structure. From the moment we start realizing
things and understanding what they are and how they can affect us is like placing a block on the
other. But one thing is that, we choose the way an object, thing or person affects our lives and
all depends on what we have pictured, stored up and released from our minds. That’s what our
reality becomes.
As the years go by, we grow into maturity, and we release what we stored up from childhood,
to teenager years and then our adulthood. A man chooses what his house is going to be like
before building, he chooses the materials he uses to build, he invites the engineer and the
workers to construct them, and then when the structure is completed, he chooses what
treasures and furniture to beautify his house. That’s pretty much what goes on first in our
minds and then secondly, in our lives. You chose everything from start to the finish because it’s
your building and therefore your life.
As young people, we need to mindful of the right things. And mindful I mean…… MIND – FULL.
Fill your mind with the right things, the right materials, the people or friends who would work
with you to make you achieve the success you have always dreamed about. For all these things
mentioned are necessary to build the life you dreamed of.
Also, you need to be MINDFULL, and I mean here being careful about what you use to build
your Mental Structure because you are actually building your Life Structure. What you hear,
what you see, what you do are the 3 things that causes a rapid change in our lives whether you
know its happening or not. Whatever information you receive from the music you listen to,
your conversations with friends, the books you read, what’s being watched on TV, and the
people you look up to, they are the makeup of your structure. Now, I am not against any of

2. them but the point I place my beam on is ….. Are they passing the kind of information that
would make you have a successful career, a peaceful relationship, a successful business, etc?
Now, that’s what I am talking about.
How you live, what you do, the character of your words, the totality of your personality, is the
expression of your mind. If you do not manage your mind, it will keep producing what it has
stored up, whether good or bad.
If we can discipline our mind to imbibe the right information, pictures or visions then we would
succeed in disciplining our lives to achieve greatness.
