<number>200 Motivated Fellows from over 50 schools nationwide are a part of my family. I’d like to see you in this picture and a part of our family next year and today we’re going to discuss how we can make that happen.<number>
<number>
Bottom line: While we represent approximately 26% of the US population we are only 3% of senior leadership; MLT wants to change that. Our 2006 research showed that African Americans, Hispanics, and Native Americans were most under-represented in senior management and they are the groups that MLT serves.<number>
200 = Peer group of “scrappy” minorities cross country. Alums that span from college seniors to management at top companies in diverse industriesWe aren’t a job placement organization, but MLT equips you with the tools to properly package yourself and exclusive exposure to companies. These ingredients help Fellows to be highly successful in securing internships and jobs.90% + Placement exceeds the national average. Msg = Students are better off with MLT than without**Most of the unaccounted 10% go to graduate school or pursue service opportunities (e.g. Teach For America, Peace Corps etc) <number>
MLT equips you to choose your path. While Jonathan used the tools and exposure through MLT to gain employment with a partner, Cesarina used the same resources to gain employment with organizations that aren’t partners. Msg = MLT is not your Agent – we don’t place you in jobs with our partners. We’re more like your personal trainer helping you to strengthen your core and preparing you to pursue your passions.<number>
