TRIMECCA, LLC PRESENTS THE ALBUQUERQUE FILM &
MEDIA EXPERIENCE
The Albuquerque Film & Media Experience is a socially conscious and impactful event that represents
creative achievement in film, music, arts and entertainment. AFME was proud to have over 5,300
attendees and close to $3 million in economic impact in 2013. AFME programming includes new
media and technology, domestic and international movies, food and art, engaging conversations,
panels and time with industry leaders in attendance. This year’s international program will spotlight
filmmaking and artistry from countries of Asia. There will be incredible networking events and
opportunities to tell your story as we gather with some of the most creative minds in the industry.
FROM THE PRODUCERS
“The mission of Trimecca, LLC is to transform community through the power of story, laughter, art and
film, while positively impacting economic development. We produce, promote and present socially
conscious media year round, through film and creative events, while celebrating the art of storytelling
and being human. At Trimecca, we believe stories shape and enlighten who we are and what we do
both individually, collectively and for the planet. We bring filmmakers, storytellers, artists and
visionaries together in co-creating a more tolerant and compassionate world through intimate
conversations, panels, screenings and events. We honor the responsible use of community resources,
while sharing the unique character of the Southwest on screen, print and stage.”
Come see how enchanting we really are in the Land of Enchantment as we celebrate cinema,
community and the arts.
AFME FOUNDATION
Each year, AFME selects two charitable organizations to partner with in supporting and raising money
for their cause. In 2013, The Storehouse Albuquerque, National Dance Institute of New Mexico and
Media Arts Collaborative Charter School were the recipients of funds raised through special events
during AFME. We are proud to give back to the community and support non-profit organizations.

piano performance by Icelandic
composer and musician, David Thor
Jonsson. With a beautiful dance
interpretation, choreographed by NDI
Founding Artistic Director Catherine

sensory experience left a lasting
impression for everyone in attendance.
“AN EVENING WITH ROBERT REDFORD
and Robert Lynch”
In 2013, AFME presented “An Evening
With Robert Redford” with Robert
Lynch, CEO for Americans for the Arts. It
was an evening of intimate
conversation, insight, laughter, memories
and their passion for art and filmmaking.
There was a full house of over 600 guests.
For 2014, we are inviting another exciting
Hollywood leader to share their story and
passions in filmmaking and the performing
arts to keep The Land of Enchantment in
the global spotlight..
“TASTE OF FILM” BENEFIT FOR THE

5. 2013 VIP Kudos
I was really pleased to see the reaction that Lainie and Ivan got because of what they are building here and what they represent
in terms of the arts. To see the enthusiasm from the audience, it really lifted me and is why Robert Lynch and I are here
tonight.
Robert Redford, Actor/Director/Producer/Humanitarian
I am filled with the deepest gratitude for your love, dedication, and commitment to furthering the pursuit of artistry, creativity, and
joy in our world! I could not have imagined a more seamless event from beginning to end. This was the moment of a lifetime!
Giancarlo Esposito, Actor/Director and Recipient of the 2013 AFME Robert & Sibylle Redford Creative Achievement Award
What Lainie and Ivan pulled off for the city of Albuquerque is more than a coup! We see AFME now as the Cannes of the
Southwest.
Mayor Richard J. Berry, Mayor of Albuquerque
We have traveled the world to film festivals and none have compared to the intimate, inclusive and impactful environment that
AFME provided. We look forward to being part of AFME 2014!
Federico Castelluccio, Actor/Director/Painter
I want to thank you for giving me one of the finest experiences I have ever had. I met so many fine people there on your
staff, fellow artists and people who attended the festival. The audience reaction to Shining Night was very touching to me.
Morten Lauridsen, world’s foremost choral composer
I really loved my time at AFME. Highlights for me were the intimacy and networking, lots of filmmakers present and I thoroughly
enjoyed being on the Women in Film panel. What great women! Also the two phenomenal Redford events. So nice to see the
inclusion of all the "arts" that could really set AFME apart!!
Sylvia Caminer, Director/Producer – An Affair of the Heart
To present such an amazing program in its first year, AFME is sure to be a contender with some of the largest festivals in the
world within 10 years.
