advertising agency, the Commercial
Pesman-Rubin Art Studio. With a salary of $
50 a month in that job she met Ubbe Iwerks,
a young man of his age and exceptionally
gifted in drawing, with whom he befriended.
When the two are out of work set up their
own company, Iwerks-Disney Commercial
Artists. The company lasted only a month
since Walt chose to accept a secure job,
but convinced his new bosses to hire Iwerks.

from Hollywood to New York to
