Garaventa and Antonino Martino Sinatra.

sixth decade of entertaining.
22. In 1995, to mark Sinatra's 80th birthday, the Empire State Building glowed blue. A star-studded
birthday tribute, Sinatra: 80 Years My Way, was held at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. At
the end of the program Sinatra graced the stage for the last time to sing the final notes of "New
York, New York" with an ensemble. It was Sinatra's last televised appearance.
23. Failing health kept him out of the public eye after his
80th birthday, and he suffered a heart attack and stroke
in 1996, and a further heart attack in 1997. After
suffering his 3rd and final heart attack, Frank Sinatra
died on 14 May 1998.
