2. We arenot just a bunch of nerds

3. Digital is… Strategy, Planning, Creative, Design, Studio, Account Service, Media & Copywriters All in the one department.

4. Digital is also… Web Programmers, Front End Developers, IT Managers, Systems Specialists, App developers, 3D Designs, 3D Riggers, 3D Animators, Flash Designers, Flash Animators, Flash Programmers, User Interface Designs, User Experience, Social Media, Marketers, Search, Google Advertising, Testing, Manuals, Servers… And that is just the beginning...

5. Digital is always changing. Imagine filming a TV ad, only to find out when you’re finished that the networks wont play it because they have changed their systems.

6. We have to be one step ahead of change. But at the same time support the past.

7. A print designer wouldn’t design an A4 print ad the size of a DL and just expect it to work… We cannot build a website for one computer and expect it to work on all computers and devices that have the internet…

8. There are many web browsers Each of these have several versions All supporting different features Often requiring different code

9. We support multiple versions of multiple browsers, on multiple systems viewed on a variety of devices all at the same time!

10. Emails are setup differently to websites, websites are set up differently to mobile sites, mobile sites are set up differently to apps, apps are setup differently for different phones…. And don’t even get me started on Facebook…

11. We often need to connect to other systems like.. Google maps, Facebook, Twitter, Databases, Email systems.

12. But, don’t get me wrong…

13. We can do anything… our only limitations are time and budget!

14. We can, and do, create new ways of thinking and doing things online.

15. BUT REMEMBER…

16. It takes time to do everything…
