A letter sent by Lenape Resources president John Holko to landowners with conventional natural gas wells on their property drilled and managed by Lenape, and to customers hooked to a Lenape pipeline, explaining why they have shut down the wells and the pipeline. They were shut down because of a new ban passed by the Town of Avon, meant to stop potential hydraulic fracturing. But the poorly worded ban also bans any drilling and storage activity related to natural gas.
