2. Welcome
Pi
Kappa
Alpha,
like
college,
is
an
investment.
PIKE
University,
especially
this
Leadership
Summit,
can
open
your

to
the
amazing
opportunities
available
through
membership
in
the
Pi
Kappa
Alpha
International
Fraternity.
This
experience
is
designed
for
every
member
of
Pi
Kappa
Alpha
alike
–
whether
you
are
a
loyal
alumnus

just
received
your

Joining
your
chapter
was
the
first
step
in
what
we
hope
will
be
a
lifelong
and
rewarding
Pi
Kappa
Alpha
experience.
Much
will
be
expected
from
you
upon
your

to
your
campus.
Over
the
course
of
the
leadership
summit,
you
will
learn
about
our

how
to
create
and
maintain
an
excellent

personal
development
enrichment,
and
how
you
can
refine
your
leadership
skills
and
talents.
Our

is
to
help
you
achieve
your
personal
best.

My
first
international
experience
with
Pi
Kappa
Alpha
was
attending
our
International
Conference
in
Atlanta,
Georgia
in
2000.
It
was
the
first
time
I
had
traveled
so
far
without
family,
and
I
can
honestly
say
that
it
was
a
life
changing
experience.
From
a
variety
of
educational
workshops
to
helping
delegates
from
across
the
US
and
Canada
form
policy,
I
learned
many
valuable
lessons
about
working
with
others
from
wildly
different
backgrounds.
Putting
myself
outside
of
my
comfort
zone
geographically
also
gave
me
the
confidence
to
seek
out
other
opportunities
within
Pikes,
from
Edmonton
to
Cincinnati
to
Chicago,
which
in
turn
gave
me
the
confidence
to
pursue
international
opportunities
in
my
professional
and
personal
life,
having
travelled
in
over
50
countries
and
worked
in
places
ranging
from
Kenya
to
Korea.
I
can
honestly
and
wholeheartedly
say
that
none
of
these
things
would
have
happened
if
I
didn’t
take
that
“first
step”
on
to
the
plane
to
Atlanta
with
my
brothers
from
Pi
Kappa
Alpha.

What
is
Pike
University
and
how
it
contributed
to
my
professional
life
after
school?
Active
listening,
value
selling,
conflict
resolution,
budget
management,
and
motivational
leadership...these
are
all
skills
I
use
on
a
daily
basis
as
a
sales
professional.
These
skills
have
proven
invaluable
to
my
professional
success
and
the
time
I
spent
at
Pike
University
armed
me
with
the
knowledge,
guidance
and
hands
on
training
to
develop
these
skills.
I
had
the
privilege
of
attending
three
Pike
University
conferences
(two
in
Memphis
and
one
in
Chicago)
and
after
learning
new
skills
at
those
conferences,
the
Laurier
Pike
Chapter
itself
provided
the
perfect
facility
for
practicing
and
refining
these
skills
before
beginning
my
professional
career.
As
such,
I
believe
every
member
of
Pi
Kappa
Alpha
should
attend
as
many
Pike
University
events
as
they
are
able
to
because
there
is
not
a
single
skill
I
gained
at
a
Pike
University
event
that
is
not
transferable
and
a
differentiator
as
a
young
professional.

Pike
U
gave
me
the
opportunity
to
network,
well
beyond
the
borders
of
my
campus
or
LinkedIn
profile.
Having
shared
drinks
with
students
and
alumni,
Pike
U
exposed
me
to
the
world
of
high
finance
and
American
politics.
I
was
offered
several
employment
opportunities
upon
graduation,
one
of
which
was
as
a
Chapter
consultant
and
the
other
as
a
hedge
fund
wholesaler.
The
knowledge
and
experience
I've
gained
as
a
result
of
Pike
U
is
unmatched,
the
friends
I've
made
and
the
connections
I
hold
are
unbreakable.

am

5. From
the
President
Saif
Dadabhoy
My
experiences
with
Pike
University
conferences
started
after
I
attended
my
first
one
in
Baltimore
during
the
summer
of
2014.
Since
then,
I
have
attended
6
other
conferences
in
many
different
cities
across
the
United
States.
Pike
University
is
really
one
of
the
premier
leadership
development
programs
available
for
undergraduates
for
a
variety
of
unique
reasons.
It
allows
you
to
expand
your
network
and
connect
with
undergraduate
students
from
different
Universities
across
the
United
States
and
Canada.
Workshops
such
as
Financial
Planning,
Budgeting,
Fitness
&
Wellness
and
Public
Speaking
give
you
the
opportunity
to
pick
up
skills
necessary
to
develop
yourself
personally.
Parallel
to
this,
workshops
such
as
Public
speaking,
Branding
Yourself,
and
Finding
Your
Dream
Job
all
cultivate
your
skills
so
that
you
may
excel
and
hit
the
ground
running
when
you
hit
the
professional
world.
Pike
University
has
had
a
lasting
impact
on
my
undergraduate
career,
far
more
than
many
other
opportunities
at
University.
Through
meeting
many
different
undergraduates
across
North
America
I
have
expanded
my
network
across
all
regions
of
the
United
States
that
have
begun
to
benefit
me
already,
and
will
continue
to
do
so
as
I
grow
into
the
professional
world.
After
sitting
through
many
workshops,
my
public
speaking,
confidence
and
ability
to
manage
my
personal
finances
has
exponentially
improved.
I
would
highly
recommend
that
you
consider
sending
your
child
to
Pike
University
conferences
and
conventions.
Whether
they
be
regional
summits
in
Chicago
or
Philadelphia,
or
larger
conventions
in
the
Memphis
–
The
ability
to
grow
a
network
paired
with
personal
and
professional
development,
will
really
pay
not
only
short
term,
but
also
long-‐term
dividends
for
your
child.
6.
We
look
forward
to
your
attendance
at
the
Chicago
Leadership
Summit
February
5-‐7th
2016
