Margadarshi The Association for Physically Challenged is a non-government organization,
striving ceaselessly in the field of disability for over twenty five years (since 1988), aiming to
empower persons with disabilities to become active contributors to society, through a range of
services from Medical Rehabilitation, Educational Support, Livelihood Training,
Counseling & Guidance and Advocacy. We do this through our Institutional and
Community based activities and touch lives of around 10000 people with disability. For more

We are constructing now a residential training Centre for disabled women, at Annaiah Reddy
Road, Halasoor, Bangalore, wherein other services such as below will also be provided:
a) Residential Care for 50 disabled young women along with Education support.
b) Life Skill Training for 200 persons with disability.
c) Counseling, guidance and referral for 1000 persons with disability
d) Distress short-stay for 500 persons with disability.
e) Disability Advocacy and Legal Cell for 2000 persons with disability.
f) Data bank useful for disabled persons and centralized library.
g) World Café model of resource base for persons with disability to come together and work
with larger policy and social issues concerning disability.
h) Emergency rescue and rehabilitation Centre.
Total expenditure for the construction is about Rs.1.98crores. The building is 75% completed,
we need another Rs.50 lakhs for its completion, so that it is ready by the time the schools
reopen. We request your support to the maximum extent possible. Your timely support will
ensure people with disability, hailing from marginalized society to come out of their
dependency and instead be a contributing member and it will be You, who would have made
their LIFE. They cannot pay you back, but one day they will pay it forward.
