Type of Energy
Electrical Energy
• Can be generated easily from other form
  of energy
• Passed quickly through electric conductor
• Can be changed to other type of electric
  easily
Heat Energy
• Can be felt
• Flow from a region of high temperature to
  a region of low temperature
• Can be transmitted through a vacuum
Sound Energy
• Can be heard
• Produced by strong vibration of molecules
• Cannot pass through a vacuum
Light Energy
• Can be seen
• Can pass through a vacuum
• The speed of light is equal to the universal
speed limit; light travel the fastest
• The light ray can be bent if there is a
  mirror
Kinetic Energy
• Energy in a moving object
• The higher the speed and the mass, the
  higher the kinetic energy
Potential Energy
• Stored energy
• Gravitational Potential Energy
• Elastic Potential Energy
Gravitational Potential Energy
• Gravitational potential energy increase
when the object is at a higher altitude
Elastic Potential Energy
• Energy stored in a stretching elastic object
Chemical Energy
• Energy stored in substance
• Can be easily changed to other forms of
  energy
Nuclear Energy
• Energy stored in the nuclei of atom
Summary
• Electrical energy is easily generated . It pass
  quickly through electric conductor. Heat
energy flow from a region of high to low
  temperature. Strong vibration of molecule
form sound energy. Light energy travel the
fastest and can be bent .Kinetic Energy is
energy in moving object. Amount of kinetic
energy is determined by the speed and mass.
Potential energy is stored energy. The
object’s altitude determine the amount of
  gravitational potential energy. Elastic
potential energy is elasticity stored in an
elastic object. Chemical energy is energy
stored in substance. Nuclear Energy is energy
