Jesus teaches a Samaritan woman that true worship requires two things: worshipping in spirit, with a heart changed by God, and in truth, according to God's revelation. When Jesus reveals to her that he is the Messiah, the woman is left speechless by the revelation of spiritual truth. True worship can only happen through a spiritual relationship with Jesus, who reveals God and our need for salvation.
