JOB DESCRIPTION Educational Program Assistant Program Title Educational Program Assistant – Program Scope of Responsibilities The Educational Program Assistant supports the teaching/learning of students with special needs by providing support in the areas of personal care, behaviour management and instructional program under the direction of the supervising teacher and program planning team. Consistent with the Department of Education and Halifax Regional School Board policies, the Educational Program Assistant will work within an established framework to provide support services that maximize student learning experiences. Working collaboratively within a team the Educational Program Assistant will demonstrate a strong commitment to the planning for improvement process in support of student learning and reports directly to the Pri
