How to publish and embed Slideshare
2. What is Slideshare?
• Slideshare is a platform for users to provide presentation resources for their audience (clients,
employees, etc). It’s the world’s largest platform to share presentations. You can also share
MSoffice file, videos, iWork and PDFs. Slideshare can also be used to view any topics of your
interest, while also networking with like-minded content providers.
3. To optimize your content:
• tease out your stats into fun and short concise info
• recraft layout to make the slides have powerful visualization
• utilize tag feature to make your content more visible to users
• you can embed slideshare widgets on blogs, wikis and website to increase your exposure
4. To publish a presentation:
• Step #1: Sign up with LinkedIn profile
• Step #2: To upload a file select Upload > select the file to upload (you can also drag and drop)
• Step #3: Once the file has loaded, add a title > description > category> tags > privacy settings
• Step #4: Add as many tags to make your content to increase the discoverability
• Step #5: Select Publish once your complete
5. Embedding Content on Slideshare
• SlideShare provides you with the ability to embed (place files on other websites or blogs) your files
to increase the visibility of your content. You can also embed other users' content that you find
interesting on your own site or blog.
6. To embed a SlideShare file:
• Visit the SlideView page (URL) of the file that you wish to embed.
• Click the Share button below the player.
• Copy the Embed code that's provided and place it on your site, blog, or other webpages.
