A safari park is a place where large animals live in open spaces, unlike zoos which keep animals in cages. Visitors to safari parks view the animals from their cars or on park buses. There are rules to follow such as not feeding, swimming with, or walking near the animals. Safari parks are home to many species including lions, elephants, monkeys, birds like flamingos and ostriches.
