UnitOverview Infinitives are used as nouns in manysituations—as subjects, objects, subjectcomplements, and adjectivecomplements. Thisunitpresentsthem in a widerange of functions and forms: It+ infinitivephrase: It’sadvisable (for a student) totakegood notes in class. Too / enoughwithinfinitives: Theprojectistoocomplicatedtofinishon time. He didn’tcallquicklyenoughtogetthejob.
