Salut — Spanish-Catalan Restaurant
Salut is one of the more hidden restaurants in Chengdu, but once you
found it you get fully rewarded. The only Spanish Tapas Bar in town
does not only have delicious Mediterranean food, but is also a very
cozy place to just enjoy a glass of wine. Salut is run by the friendly
Catalan brothers Pepe and Agusti Gazquez, who do not compromise
in the ingredients of their dishes: olives, olive oil, vinegar, salsa,
anchovies, wine and other specialties are imported from Spain and
can also partly be purchased in the restaurant. Amongst many
Salut excellent dishes on the menu, Salut’s Catalan chef works his magic on
seafood, paellas, salads, Spanish tortillas and all sorts of tapas. The
萨露西班牙-加泰蓝风味 outdoor space is great for having a “cafe con leche” during the day,
Shuadu—Chunjiang Huayue 118 while the light scent of seafood, garlic and candles is likely to make
you move inside the restaurant in the evening. The Gazquez brothers
(back street)
seem to have an endless repertoire of Spanish music, which adds to
Wuhouci Street 19 making your visit a little journey to Europe. If you want to indulge even
