This document compares the advantages and disadvantages of electronic medical journals compared to print journals. The advantages of electronic journals include instant access from any location, faster searching and access to references. However, electronic journals are less portable, on-screen reading is more tiring, and image quality can be poorer. While electronic formats provide benefits, print journals are still preferred for some uses due to ease of reading in short moments of time away from a computer.
