Branch Logistics Manager, Southeast-203115
Description
SUMMARY:
Efficiently plan and execute truck load, LTL, and intermodal shipments of vehicles to customers,
hub locations, and distributor/dealers in support of E-Z-GO Logistics financial and customer
service goals. Use Transportation Management System (TMS) and Warehouse Management
System (WMS) to maximize efficient use of inbound and outbound conveyances. Communicate
planning, shipping, and delivery information to internal and external customers.
DUTIES:
Point of contact with all internal and external customers
Plan shipments of domestic goods
Optimize the use of all available resources by ensuring trailers and containers are cubed
efficiently and by coordinating available backhauls of used vehicles
Manage overall carrier relationships and secure appropriate number of carriers to
support shipment volume
Ensure on-time and complete deliveries; communicate shipment activity to internal and
external customers
Route inbound and outbound shipments to maximize freight revenue and cost savings
Represent Logistics in various Branch and other meetings to communicate and ensure
timely availability of product
Coordinate schedules and shipment preparation with Branch operations and shipping
personnel
Provide daily updates in sufficient detail to all internal stakeholders as required

shipments.

branch operations for all shipments.

ensure accuracy of charges.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Associate’s Degree focused in Business Management, Logistics, Finance,
Accounting, or Sales & Marketing is required; Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
Related work experience may be considered in lieu of education
Cross functional experience in marketing, manufacturing, purchasing, sales, or logistics
a plus
Experience with logistical software systems such as TMS & WMS a plus
Experience with JBA and/or SAP is a plus
Good oral and written communication skills required
Must function well under pressure
Strong Microsoft Office suite skills are required (Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Word)
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyze and interpret procedures, governmental regulations. Ability to write
reports, business correspondence and procedures. Ability to effectively present information and
respond to questions from groups of managers, customers and other employees.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to
interpret an extensive variety of technical information and draw valid conclusions from concrete
and abstract data.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES;
Strong communication and organizational skills. Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to manage
more than one task at a time and work well under pressure.
