The chief operating officer of Ironshore, Inc., Mitchell Blaser plays an active role in supporting his alma mater, the George Washington University School of Business. Mitch Blaser belongs to the school’s board of advisors and recently welcomed the new interim dean, Dr. Christopher Kayes, as he transitions into a leadership role.

Mitchell Blaser plays an active role in
supporting his alma mater, the George
Washington University School of Business.
Mitch Blaser belongs to the school’s board of
advisors and recently welcomed the new
interim dean, Dr. Christopher Kayes, as he
transitions into a leadership role.

3.  Professor Christopher Kayes, who chairs the
Department of Management in addition to
leading the George Washington University
School of Business as a whole, leads the
school’s fundraising efforts. Through
relationship building with the business
community and alumni of the school, he
gains an understanding of how past students
and future employers value the GWU program
and lays the ground for future gifts.

4.  Dr. Kayes’ academic accomplishments include
the 2012 Outstanding Teaching Award, which
he won for his instructional excellence in the
GWU School of Business’ Executive MBA
program. His other teaching experience
includes terms at top business schools such
as the Singapore Institute of Management,
the Helsinki School of Economics, and Holy
Spirit University. He holds a senior fellowship
at GWU’s Center for Excellence in Public
Leadership.
