EXT. dusk on a country road (George’s road)

The film starts with a fade from black into a shot of a road. All the sound is natural of just
the wind through the grass. Then a speeding car races past and, with the whooshing of the
car, “deep Cover” is played in the background. Cut to a shot (using a GoPro) of the road
from on top of the bonnet of the car. Cut to a shot of the passenger from the driver’s seat,
the passenger is smoking and watching the road side fly past. The music has now gone
from non-diegetic to diegetic music being played in the car quietly.
1-1:30min
Passenger
How long do we have to drive for?
Driver
Until I find a good place to stop.
The passenger stares at the driver who slowly becomes uncomfortable
Driver
What the fuck are you looking at?
The passenger quickly turns away but in a some what nervous stutter asks
Passenger
Are you worried?
Driver
No

2. Passenger
Why not?
Driver
Please just shut up
Passenger turns away in embarrassment
1:30-2:05min
The car then pulls over off the road.
Driver
Here will have to do.
Passenger gets out a pack of cigarettes and goes to light it.
Driver
Do you want to give me one of them?
Passenger gets out a cigarette and hands it to Driver.
Driver
Thank you.
They both light up in the car.
Driver
Let’s sort this shit out
2:05 – 3min
They then get out. They make their way around to the boot. They open the boot, slightly
cliché pulp fiction style shot from in the boot looking at the two starring into the boot and

3. both taking a long drag on their cigarettes. Driver then realizes something is wrong and
starts moving things around in the boot.
Driver
What the fuck man?! What is this shit?!
Passenger
I don’t fucking know
Driver
What the fuck do you mean you don’t fucking know? I told you to deal with this shit…
Are you fucking kidding me? I told you to staple the tarp closed you knob head.
Passenger
I didn’t want to staple a dead body, that’s weird
Driver
Oh wow, I’m sorry, well now the boot is covered in fucking body juice. This is a fucking
nightmare and you’re a liability. Just turn around and keep an eye out for fucking traffic.
Shot: back of car and far shot of dragging body out.
Driver grabs the body by the ankles and drags it out of the car. As the dead weight of the
body covered in tarp hits the floor, Passenger turns around.
Passenger
Jesus, what the fuck are you doing?
Driver stares emotionlessly at passenger who after a few uncomfortable seconds speaks
out

4. Driver gets a spade out of the back seats of the car.
Driver
(Sigh) I’m going to burry it, you fucking nonce. So pretty please, with a cherry on top,
turn around and look at something else, because, you’re really starting to fucking annoy
me.
Driver then proceeds to drag the body a fair way before starting to dig. Fade to Black.
3-3:20
Scene 2
Fade in to a long shot of the car but were Driver is in the foreground finishing off burying
the body. In the background we see Passenger open the boot; get something out, close the
boot and shouts from the car.
Passenger
Yow! I think we forgot something?!
Driver on hearing this looks round for anyone that may have heard and then replies in a
loud whisper
Driver
What the fuck man? Seriously? Fucking… get over here.
From the same long shot as before we see Passenger run from the car to where Driver is.
Driver
You know what I’m doing right?
Passenger
Yes?
Driver
Then why the Fuck are you shouting? Fuck, you know what I should do. I should fucking
smack you round the face with this spade and bury you swell.
Well, what the fuck do you want?

5. Passenger
Erm… I just remembered… something?... you know when we were rushing around
trying to put the body in the boot.
Cuts to a fast paced flash back where Driver is starting the car yelling at Passenger, and
Passenger is trying to fling the body into the boot. Cut back to present were Driver is
nodding
Passenger
Well… I may have had an ‘accident’.
Cut back to the flashback where Passenger is just about to slam the boot shut. Cut to a
shot of near the bumper of the car where we see that the corpses hand is out the back of
the car. As the boot slams down on the hand (before we can see anything actually
happen), cut back to present were Passenger slowly raises the corpses now dismembered
hand into view.
3:20-4:20
Driver
Are you fucking kidding me?
Driver drops the spade and takes the hand from Passenger and looks at it for a while
Driver
Fine. Fuck it.
Driver throws the hand over his shoulder and begins to walk off
Driver
Who gives a shit? Cuz I have given up. I don’t even give a fuck anymore.
Passenger
But what if the police…
Driver
I DON”T GIVE A FUCK! You fucked everything up. Get in the car because we’re
going, now.
Passenger

6. Surely we need to bury the…
Driver
GET IN THE FUCKING CAR OR I AM GOING TO LEAVE WITHOUT YOU.
Driver then storms off towards the car in a fast walk. Passenger is left looking around at
the shit he has caused
Passenger
Ahhh shit.
The car starts
Passenger
Oh fuck
Passenger then runs to the car.
Cut to a shot in the car looking at the passenger door with Driver in view but out of focus.
The door then opens, Passenger gets in. The camera then focuses to Driver who is staring
dead straight.
Driver
I fucking hate you.
Cut to a shot of the back of the car as it pulls off into the night.
4:20-5min
