Md. Mynul Islam has solid working experience of 27 years in 5 different companies in
Pharmaceutical sector. At last he worked as the Head of Sales in Rangs Pharmaceuticals Limited
and led a group 650 people in Marketing & Sales Team and pushed product in market thru more than
15,000 doctors. He joined in the company back in 2014 and after joining the sales growth of the
company in 2015 was increased by 42% from last year. He has introduced Key Performance
Indicator (KPI) of the sales force, Daily Strike Rate (DSR), Channel Contribution thru product
differentiation; theme based yearly convention with the customers which ultimately brought
company revenue of BDT 54 crore per year and 98% of the target and 0.45% market share in
pharmaceutical industry.
Prior to that, he was in Astra Biopharmaceuticals Ltd from 2011 to 2014. He joined in the
company as the second employee and left the company by boosting up sales up to 20 crore per
annum from startup within 3 years with 200 effective salesman and 5000 doctors by Introducing 42
new products and penetrating them in market successfully.
He has passed 17 years of his career at Square Pharmaceuticals Ltd. He joined there as Sr. Medical
Promotion Officer in 1994 and after several promotions, he became Sales Manager while left the
company in 2010. He achieved “Best Medical Promotion Officer” award from 1995 to 1997.
Earlier he was in Eskayef Bangladesh Ltd from 1992 to 1994. He started career from Opsonin
Pharma back in 1989. He has completed his BSc in 1986. He has trained thousands of people on
Sales, Marketing and Business Development who work with him and he has also participated in a
number of trainings at home and abroad.
