I've made this tutorial because too much people upload to much big images on their site, and because most of them can do it with Photoshop but not the Gimp. So you will find in this tutorial how to resize an image with the Gimp, a free design software (GNU) Please let me konw if you liked it ?

- 3. Nicolas BYKOFF – LateSEO.com Create a frame • File > New • Fill the size Ex 105*56 px • Select “transparency” • Click “ok”

- 6. Nicolas BYKOFF – LateSEO.com Resize to the right scale • Clic on the left high corner and hold Ctrl • Otherwise the layer won’t be proportionate • Reduce it until you have the right size • Use the window

Export as • When it’s done click on File > Export • Choose a proper name (your SEO will be grateful ;-)) • Pick a right format • PNG is good because of transparent background • Click on export • On the next window let ticked what is ticked • Reduce the compression level to 7 • Click on export
