Teeth Whitening
Teeth Whitening is a popular cosmetic dental procedure performed to improve the
appearance of your smile. Whiter teeth can do wonders for your smile and
appearance, so it's no wonder that teeth whitening is one of the most popular
cosmetic dentistry options.
2. Root Canal Therapy
The aim of root canal treatment (also called endodontic treatment) is to save a tooth
that has been badly damaged due to decay, disease or injury.
Symptoms can include pain, sensitivity to hot or cold, tooth discolouration and
swelling or soreness in the gums surrounding the tooth. If the pulp cannot reapair
itself, it will initially become inflamed. If it is not treated, it will die and become
infected. Root canal treatment is then needed to save the tooth.
Porcelain Veneers
3. Veneers are excellent for treating chipped, discoloured, slightly misaligned or
misshapen teeth or gaps between the teeth, especially if these defects affect the front
teeth. A tooth that is too small or has irregularities can be successfully treated with a
veneer.
Dental Implants
Dental implants are artificial tooth roots that are inserted to replace missing natural
teeth. Implants and their attached crowns closely mimic the look and function of real
teeth. They can make an attractive alternative to dentures and bridges.
Dental implant techniques can replace one or several missing teeth. In some cases, an
entire set of artificial teeth can be carried on dental implants.
Cosmetic Restoration Dentistry
4. Cosmetic dentistry concentrates more on the improvement of the appearance, rather
than on the function, of teeth, gums, and bite of a person. It commonly solves issues
like uneven or chipped teeth, discoloration, or missing teeth.
We aim to restore the form, function and cosmetic appearance of broken down or
unsightly teeth.
Crown and Bridge Dentistry
The outside of each tooth is made of enamel, which is extrememly hard. Although teeth are strong
and difficult to break, trauma (such as a fall) may chip or break them.
Tooth decay may also severely weaken a tooth, with a high risk that the tooth may fall apart. Root
canal therapy where the pulp of the tooth containing nerves and blood vessels is removed, can also
weaken a tooth, especially if it has large fillings. Teeth may also wear down over time.
In these cases, a crown is often the best way to save a tooth and strengthen.
