Setting the Scene

2. By the previous extract from “Great
Expectations” we were introduced to “Unit 6”
from our course book, which was entitled
“ Setting the Scene”
In this unit we studied:
• to write a contemporary adaptation for a text
• to write an opening scene for a play
• More about Shadow Puppetry
• to act out and shoot our own opening scenes
3. And we got ready and excited as
never before for the big challenge .....
5. We arranged that in every group
we should have a director, a
cameraman, a scriptwriter and 1 or
2 actors or actresses..
We ended up being divided among
4 groups.........
