Eight premolars have a completely different shape. They are bigger, stronger, and have ridges – perfect for crushing and grinding food. Last, molars are the toughest of the bunch. They are even wider and stronger than premolars, and have more ridges. Molars work closely with your tongue to help swallow food.
taste helped Five taste centers allow us to determine which foods are enjoyable (sweet) and which might be harmful (bitter). Unfortunately, our permanent sweet tooth can lead to unhealthy choices.
global food system But today, we can import and buy food from almost anywhere. With little ‘culinary culture,’ how will we choose the best?
